00:00:00
Well, you're tuned into Everything's Energy, and we are tuning in today to talk about the Wu Society, or maybe not, but energy medicine, the good, the bad, the ugly, the funny.
Roland
00:00:13
Hold on. I'm not hilarious.
Michael Scalar
00:00:13
Hold on. Oh, wait. He has to don.
Roland
00:00:15
I need to tune into your frequency, Michael.
Michael Scalar
00:00:17
Tune in harder.
Roland
00:00:19
Oh. I need to your aura is a little
Michael Scalar
00:00:22
Oh, thank you.
Roland
00:00:22
Get A little dirty. Clean that aura up. Yeah. Alright. K.
Roland
00:00:24
And I would like you just to touch this.
Michael Scalar
00:00:26
Okay. I need to touch the crystals.
Roland
00:00:27
Okay. Now you can go. Okay. Now we're good.
Michael Scalar
00:00:29
Okay. So we're we're talking about stuff and things.
Roland
00:00:32
We're talking about
Michael Scalar
00:00:33
right off my aura. Forgot what we're talking about.
Roland
00:00:36
I wanted to talk about energy medicine.
Michael Scalar
00:00:39
Alright. Let's do
Roland
00:00:40
it. Or Energy medicine. I don't like to use the word medicine, but there is this growing trend in our industry, in society as a whole of a resurgence of things that used to be cast aside in any sort of health care, things that are nonphysical modalities of energy and healing. People use quackery. Do you know where the term quackery comes from?
Michael Scalar
00:01:02
I wanna say ducks and maybe little tiny ducks.
Roland
00:01:05
No. It actually comes from an old practice where they used to inject Quebec silver into people who had high blood pressure because it would poke holes in the kidneys, and people's blood pressure would drop.
Michael Scalar
00:01:16
What kind of silver?
Roland
00:01:17
Quebec silver. It's like a German origin. It's an old German practice. So you would be a quack if you would do this to people because yes, you would drop their blood pressure, but they would die of poisoning. So there's actually an origin story, but why I want to bring this up is anything is non allopathic or maybe even non functional medicine practice gets a bad rap nowadays from so many people because they immediately dismiss it.
Roland
00:01:44
Yeah. And I think this conversation is warranted because look at the basis for this show. It's an energy healing technology, right? Mhmm. Your mom's legend as a doctor of natural medicine is in hands on healing, release, trauma work, emotional work, and that stuff is becoming very popular nowadays.
Roland
00:02:04
And I think it's great because it gives people more options because healing is not just a physical meat suit thing.
Michael Scalar
00:02:09
Mhmm.
Roland
00:02:11
But there are so many charlatans, and there are so many people playing things up. You hear the stories of gurus and people becoming part of some sort of cult and sexual abuse and all this stuff. So I think with your experience, you know, being a lifelong person who's been immersed in this stuff
Michael Scalar
00:02:28
I was born into the woo woo.
Roland
00:02:30
You were. And and I adopted a little bit later in life, but I have had wonderful experiences in my own experience helping other people. I studied a lot of things. I like to demystify some of this stuff.
Michael Scalar
00:02:42
Alright. Well, I mean, I I like to take one of the woos out of the woo woo, and Please. Now we're in the woo woo ah range. But, yeah, obviously, EE system start off as super woo woo and quackery to most people. Everyone thought we were absolutely crazy until they started seeing the results, and they're like, okay.
Michael Scalar
00:02:59
Maybe there's something there. And I think energy healing as a hands on healer has been very valid over years. People have done the the group prayer over people. The power of the mind is extremely powerful.
Roland
00:03:10
Mhmm.
Michael Scalar
00:03:10
I think some people are obviously more adept at it and then have natural skills and abilities and natural healers. And then other people are like, well, they can do it, I can do it, and that's probably not always the case.
Roland
00:03:20
It doesn't just happen automatically. There is a skill and a skill that's acquired.
Michael Scalar
00:03:25
It's like like violinist who just keeps trying but keeps playing the bad chords. Know, not everyone's gifted to play the violin.
Roland
00:03:32
And that's a good point. Some people have a natural aptitude for these things. Some people that don't. And you know what I find? The people who are more creative, the artists, the musicians, the right brain people, the ones who are intuitive seem to have a natural ability with this stuff, where someone's a little bit more logical, a little bit more like, say, an engineer or a mathematician, probably not their natural wheelhouse.
Roland
00:03:54
I know I'm generalizing, but I look at patterns of things.
Michael Scalar
00:03:57
No. No. Absolutely. I mean, you need a bounce light right left brain hemisphere. You can't just be living in the left to to do the woo.
Michael Scalar
00:04:03
Mhmm. There's so many different modalities in the woo too that, you know, you have astrologers, you have the the Reiki master. It was a ongoing joke in our family for a while because we meet so many Reiki masters. We're like, oh, another Reiki master? They're just handing these certificates out to everyone.
Michael Scalar
00:04:21
Everyone's a master. They say, I'm a yoga teacher, Reiki master. I'm a Reiki master
Roland
00:04:27
Mhmm.
Michael Scalar
00:04:27
And a consultant and or just a straight Reiki master. It's like, so what do you do for a living?
Roland
00:04:33
I'm homeless. Work at Starbucks.
Michael Scalar
00:04:36
Yeah. It was never that. It was like, well, a trust fund kid or just random things. It's like, but there were so many Reiki masters. I'm I'm not gonna poo poo on Reiki.
Michael Scalar
00:04:45
There there's there's great stuff there. I personally experienced very few people that are actually masters at being Reiki masters. What's your experience with that?
Roland
00:04:57
It's hard to say because I've I've always explored various things within the field of energy medicine that I find interesting. I've had cranial sacral therapy experiences. I've had people who do osteopathy, which is actually traditional osteopathy is kind of like a blend of physical therapy and energy work where they can feel different things within people. I've had amazing experiences with those kinds of things and they work better than purely physical modalities do because I think they look at things on multiple levels. When it comes to energy medicine, I I wanna define something for people so they know where I'm coming from.
Roland
00:05:32
Right? Yeah. Energy in my world is information. Right? If we we actually define and demystify it, a field of energy is just a field of information.
Roland
00:05:44
Most of what we pick up as information in this realm, this third dimension, is based upon the five senses. What can we touch? What can we hear, feel, see, things of that nature? So when someone's an energy practitioner, they're getting into the world of the subtle energies, the things that are not dense. They're they're beyond maybe the Newtonian kinds of things.
Roland
00:06:03
People are trying to very reductionistically make them about quantum physics, and they say the right things and sound right. But we really don't actually know what's going on. But some people have the ability to perceive things. For example, a Reiki practitioner might be able to put their hand over someone, and they will feel something in an area of their body. Mhmm.
Roland
00:06:20
And that may correlate that with that person saying, you know, I have a kidney problem. I have this fascial tension thing right here. So they're perceiving something through their body that is of information coming into the person on a subtle level and they're converting that into some sort of analysis, assessment, and then they're trying to focus on fixing it. Same thing with psychic stuff. Right?
Roland
00:06:44
To me psychic is information beyond the five senses. So I wanna demystify it because if you do an EEG on someone, you put electrodes on their head, you can measure the frequency of brain waves. Yeah. You've delta, theta, alpha, beta, gamma. If you do an echocardiogram on someone to check their heart, you can see the high frequency and the low frequencies coming off what's called the synatrial node.
Roland
00:07:09
This is the funny part. All western medicine uses energy medicine for their diagnostics. Don't realize that's how an MRI works. It's how a CAT scan works. It's how of the diagnostics that are trying to pick up on the functional patterns of the body operate.
Roland
00:07:23
But we we discredit them when we can't put them in this box, but people are wanting to
Michael Scalar
00:07:28
crystals for instance, are they help clocks stay in sync. Yeah. They're in semiconductors, different things for transmitting information or energy. So it's it's it's fascinating when when you reduce it to, well, don't understand that. It must be garbage.
Michael Scalar
00:07:41
Then you're you're kind of skipping over the logic process.
Roland
00:07:45
Yeah. And all energy medicine practitioners, regardless of what it is they do, is they're tapping into something we can't see, but they're able to perceive, and they're able to convert that information into something to give back to you as this is what I'm picking up that's going wrong. This is what I'm sensing that is going on in your system that you may need some help with. Or, you know, I've met someone who they told me about family member of mine who I never told this person anything about this person's existence, let alone that I wanted to talk to them. It just comes through.
Roland
00:08:16
So there's definitely something to this, and I think society is waking up to it. There's an interest, a resurgence, but this is where the people who are charlatans come in, and they give the industry a bad rap.
Michael Scalar
00:08:26
They really do. I mean, there's so many people like, I keep getting told you're in an industry of 95% snake oil, and you're
Roland
00:08:32
Do you think it's that high? I think
Michael Scalar
00:08:34
it really is.
Roland
00:08:35
I'd like to believe it's not that
Michael Scalar
00:08:37
I mean, that's the number. It's been told to me multiple. They literally always throw out 95%. Multiple people have been like, you're in an industry that's 95% stake oil. I'm like and and then, obviously, it it tracked my mind.
Michael Scalar
00:08:48
I'm just like, why did the why does that that number keep coming? Maybe it's 92% or maybe it's 90%. I don't I don't really know. There's no metric for that, but it's pretty high. You see these companies come and go all the time and make big claims and get shut down on there there was one guy in the scale.
Michael Scalar
00:09:03
He's he's passed now, so I'll I'll just say his name. Tom Paladino was a charlatan in the Scalar field because he was telling people he could cure HIV, HPV, HSV, every sexually transmitted disease, cancer, everything through remote Scalar work.
Roland
00:09:20
And Remote Scalar work.
Michael Scalar
00:09:21
Yeah. It wasn't even like you were in his field. He had, like, a Tesla coil and some stuff.
Roland
00:09:26
He'd send it to you.
Michael Scalar
00:09:26
Yeah. And he would send people to EE system presentations. Go learn about this kind of technology that I'm selling at an EE system presentation. It happened to Shantani in Hawaii, we were just like, oh, man. We don't even know what to do with this guy.
Michael Scalar
00:09:38
And we're like, how is he still operating? But I think he, like, had a church or something. It was a little, like, ecclesiastic nonsense. Finally finally, he did get cracked down on a bunch. And we heard reports of, you know, he was doing credit card fraud with people not letting them cancel their subscriptions.
Michael Scalar
00:09:52
Probably very lucrative. But we were all complaining because it's like, this guy is making us all look so bad by being so brazen and making such bold claims, and I have no idea if there's people out there that had had a good experience with what he was doing. If if you had a Paladino experience, please drop something in the comments, good or bad. I'm curious. I I heard a lot of bad.
Michael Scalar
00:10:15
Maybe we'll find a couple good. But there's people that come into this industry, and they make the same claims as people like EE System. Obviously, we we're probably the most copycatted for verbiage in our market because we're so good at explaining industry, which is a very, very hard industry to explain.
Roland
00:10:32
There's a great idea. I'm gonna literally put you on the spot. I wanna run down some devices because I know you had some experience analyzing things. Right?
Michael Scalar
00:10:40
So Yeah.
Roland
00:10:40
Light therapy. Useful, useless in your opinion.
Michael Scalar
00:10:45
Well, I mean, there's lots of you mean, like, red light or just light in general?
Roland
00:10:49
Anything within the color spectrum, infrared saunas, ultraviolet stuff. Like, do you see some utility in them, or
Michael Scalar
00:10:56
do you think they're saunas, I mean, obviously, changing the spectrum of of the the heat and the light being utilized in these is is there is a modulation that occurs. Mhmm. Do I know if it's beneficial from a scientific standpoint? It's hard to to quantify that. Mhmm.
Michael Scalar
00:11:12
But I do know that I love sweating because then shit's getting out of my bloodstream. Yeah.
Roland
00:11:15
It's great. Like in an infrared sauna, your body absorbs the infrared light, increases core temperature, enhances blood flow and also lymphatic flow, and it starts to get things out, you can detoxify a little bit that way. So I would put that in the category of contextually useful. You might not want to go in sauna every day because you may have excessive mineral loss, or if you're someone who's dealing with a cardiovascular issue, you might not want to stress your body too much because it is Or
Michael Scalar
00:11:39
do on a micro dosing scale, so not you know, your thirty minutes That's too a good high. Go in for
Roland
00:11:46
Five minutes might be enough for some people.
Michael Scalar
00:11:48
It depends if the sauna's already hot. Yes. But, yeah, I mean, you're just getting some I mean, your fat will emulsify under heat too, so you're mobilizing toxins on on your your fat level, on on your, you know, sweating things out. So you went out drinking or you're heavily toxic. Skin's the largest organs.
Michael Scalar
00:12:05
It'll literally just seep out of you, you get some funny smells with people that are really sick in those. But no, saunas are probably the most underrated and extremely valuable technologies in the wellness community. The problem is you have a lot of people that are cheapening it up, they're using a lot of chemical woods. They're using the tents are made out of polyester, which that's bad to heat up.
Roland
00:12:28
There's EMF emittance for certain saunas that A lot
Michael Scalar
00:12:30
of them have be high.
Roland
00:12:31
So you have to find a
Michael Scalar
00:12:32
good one. You wanna get the ones that are yeah. It's hard to say if there's ones that are marketed as low EMF and unless you actually have third party meter them. God only knows.
Roland
00:12:40
Isn't it funny how we just assume, like, says low EMF? Alright. It is because they said it, so I'm not gonna question it.
Michael Scalar
00:12:46
But there is a It's like that no sugar, but has aspartame. Yeah. Like, you're great.
Roland
00:12:49
Okay. So sauna's in the category of useful. What about all these light panels? People are doing red light therapy. I I mean, I have these very unique light bulbs that I use with people.
Roland
00:12:59
You can use, four zero five nanometer purple light to kill bacteria. You can use
Michael Scalar
00:13:05
Well, that's different because I mean, there are strategic UV lights, different lights that are gonna actually immobilize different things that might be contaminant, and that's very different than a wellness device. Obviously, those are extremely beneficial because you could UV out medical sterilize, or during COVID, could have done that to your fruits and vegetables if you were hyper, concerned about getting anything on your food.
Roland
00:13:29
I have a laser that does it, and it's really good for they use it in Southeast Asia for dental infections. Green and purple laser, when there's bacterial overgrowth in an infected tooth can actually help, basically it inhibits the DNA of the bacteria So there's specialized clinical uses, but everyone has a red light panel these days. Let's Everyone has all these
Michael Scalar
00:13:50
dive into that. So there's different spectrums in red light, different bulbs, there's medical grade LEDs. There's a lot of different moving parts to red light therapy. Can you just use a red bulb for red light? To some degree, possibly, because it's the spectrum of red, and you're trying to get some efficacy from that.
Michael Scalar
00:14:07
From what I've heard from, and this isn't my specialty by any means, but from what I've heard from a lot of the pros is, there are very specific ways of using red light, and different specific spectrums.
Roland
00:14:19
Mhmm.
Michael Scalar
00:14:20
And you obviously want medical grade LED, otherwise, you know, you're gonna you want it want it to pierce into the body as well.
Roland
00:14:26
That's a great point.
Michael Scalar
00:14:27
There's a lot of people that are selling these hats that have LEDs in them, and they're supposed to grow your hair. I've I've never heard of anyone that said I stopped being bald before I bought mine. I'm sure you yeah. You
Roland
00:14:38
make a good point though about the red lights and the LEDs. What most people don't realize is photon that comes out of a light is different than what comes out of a laser. So coherent light is like a line of people marching one after the other. Like imagine a military march where there's a long line of people. There's a coherence and a momentum of how that light will go across
Michael Scalar
00:15:01
distance.
Roland
00:15:01
Yeah. A red light panel, it's like people lined up laterally all moving forward. There's no depth of penetration. So when the light comes out of those panels, it doesn't go very far. So you may be getting illuminated by the light, but it might not be coming close enough to you to actually penetrate the skin and absorb things.
Roland
00:15:19
So if you're using a red light panel, from my understanding, like you said, you need a specific wavelength, but you almost need to be like nose to
Michael Scalar
00:15:26
It's like the only really good ones are actually the tanning booth ones where you're literally like clenched down. Those beds. And you can't do a ton of it apparently. So you're, you know, it gets really hot in there and just the heat alone could actually be a large part of mobilizing fat. Yeah.
Michael Scalar
00:15:40
But I've never heard of any miracle stories from red light therapy. So obviously, when you have things like the EE system, and I'm clearly involved in that, I'm like, well, why would I bother with that when I can't use this? Then we have miracle stories around the clock.
Roland
00:15:53
I think to make it simple and and demystify, light energy photons are little packets of information the body can absorb. Yep. And you can absorb that light energy, and they have places in the body where they might be able to oh, I almost knocked off my. Don't don't lose your Don't do it. You
Michael Scalar
00:16:11
lose my frequency.
Roland
00:16:12
Hold on. Was Get out of thought. Tune. They're telling me this is what they want me to say about the red light. There's certain areas of your body that can absorb the light energy in the mitochondria of, like, skin cells, things of that nature.
Roland
00:16:23
And when you increase the energy in a cell, you increase the health of the cell. Yeah. That's really what it does. It can help influence water dynamics in the body. It might do something for overall energy expenditure and the experience of feeling more energetic, not a stimulant like an energy drink, but there is a limited utility to them.
Roland
00:16:40
It's not, it's not going to cure anything, but it's something that you have to do daily because the effects are cumulative.
Michael Scalar
00:16:45
Yeah. Fair?
Roland
00:16:47
Fair. PEMF pads. I know you've really gone deep on these things.
Michael Scalar
00:16:52
Yeah. I I thought about bringing PMF into the EE system ecosystem. And, obviously, we have our hypercharger. We're doing crystals. A lot of these mats are laid with loads of small pieces of crystal, which are magnificent.
Michael Scalar
00:17:05
And I kinda stopped for a couple of different reasons. This timing was wrong, but also I noticed that I I I had nine or 10 different ePMF mats. All of them had massive amounts of EMFs. So I was measuring the EMF and the magnetic. So the magnetic would be your pulsed magnetic fields.
Michael Scalar
00:17:23
So I found two that were would be passable, and maybe if we hypercharged them, it would work. But then there's the build quality, and I was like, these just for the price ratio and what there's a large competition.
Roland
00:17:35
They're so expensive for what they are.
Michael Scalar
00:17:37
They really are. So I kind of fell out of it, but it it was fun finding out how much EMFs are coming off these PMF mats. And then I was like, there's I know there's ways to actually lower the EMF range because actually we started building our own coil systems that have no EMF, but have a pulse of magnetic frequency.
Roland
00:17:57
Which is what you want. You want that pulse magnetic Yeah. And for people who can see this, if you have a flow of magnetism this way, you have a flow of electricity this way, so it it's the admittance of both fields of information that could be beneficial or detrimental. In the case of a lot of PEMF pads. I think it's also the charging stations that are attached to the device.
Roland
00:18:18
Yeah. They it's like a Wi Fi beacon of, dirty electricity that comes off of them.
Michael Scalar
00:18:24
It's you're you're you're getting a lot of, EMFs off the 60 cycle that's just coming out of the outlet or if you're one twenty wherever you at two forty. So would I use PMF? I think it would be specific. I personally wouldn't use PMF. They're, I think they, they generate a lot of heat, which I thought would be a great marketing towards women who were on their cycle because that heat would help them, you know, they lay on their stomach and the pulses between the pulses and that heat be very comforting.
Michael Scalar
00:18:53
But I I think we can make better technology. We can make it stronger, faster, less EMF.
Roland
00:19:00
PEMF devices, most of them, the good ones, were actually designed and manufactured in the eighties, and they've just been updated visually. Like, the technology came out of Russia and Germany. It is old stuff. I mean, the reason we know that we can keep an astronaut alive in space is because the Russians figured out that they had to put in a Schumann resonance in a space station so the deterioration of the body wouldn't accelerate because when you're disconnected from the Earth's magnetic field Gravity. Yeah.
Roland
00:19:28
All that good stuff. The theory of gravity. We won't get into that But most people don't know that PEMF isn't a thing. Like there are different frequencies that come off the device and those frequencies have the ability to resonate with different tissues. Like if you want your red blood cells to be less sticky and flow better, that's a certain bandwidth.
Roland
00:19:48
The frequencies if you want to chill out your nervous system, that's a certain bandwidth. The frequencies and my worry nowadays is because in the Western world we just rust, rush stuff out to manufacture. When I go to these conferences, I ask the people who are selling these items, well what bandwidths of frequencies are you emitting? And they look at me like I have three heads and they also go, shit, you had to ask me that question.
Michael Scalar
00:20:08
No. Don't ask the good question.
Roland
00:20:11
It's no different than asking the farmer, what did you fertilize this plant with when you grew it? I want to know everything so I know what I'm exposing myself to because we've been so reductionist that we go, Oh, PEMF is good. Therefore I'm just going to do PEMF. It's not one thing.
Michael Scalar
00:20:26
Yeah. Well, it's the consumerism of everyone's buying things from China and just slapping a logo on it and
Roland
00:20:33
But good
Michael Scalar
00:20:34
PEMF has some utility. Buying stuff from China. Any more? I know someone in in this in in our specific industry buying things from China, slapping anyway.
Roland
00:20:47
That sounds like a pyramid scheme to me.
Michael Scalar
00:20:49
It it pyramid scheme. Yeah. That's
Roland
00:20:52
They sent they sent me
Michael Scalar
00:20:53
that one. It was they. Blade them. But, yeah, red light, all all the different modalities out there.
Roland
00:20:58
EMF is
Michael Scalar
00:20:59
Finding cheap stuff to regurgitate here, and they're not actually concerned about the the underlying technology there that we're in this industry. I have red red lights. Lights. Yeah. Yeah.
Michael Scalar
00:21:07
I I have have pyramids. I have
Roland
00:21:08
to do some research as a consumer. Another one, I'd be interested to know what you think of rife frequencies. Sound frequencies to target different Yeah. Familiar with rife. Maladies and ailments in
Michael Scalar
00:21:18
I've the had a lot of rife rife treatments over the years, and I've noticed very minimal effects. Almost nothing? Probably zero. Not even almost, like, effect whatsoever. I think it's I think the the concept of rife is was probably very awesome.
Michael Scalar
00:21:37
The regurgitation of the spin off of the technologies that
Roland
00:21:40
It's that. It's the it's the bastardization of the original work. I'll give you an example. I was bitten by a tech in California in, like, 02/2021. Mhmm.
Roland
00:21:50
It was around COVID time. And I had to do a lecture in LA, and I was feeling terrible. So I went to this guy's clinic, and he puts me on the right thing. He's like, oh, I'm just gonna scan you for all the, what's called, it the, Lyme frequencies, Borrelia, Bartonella, Babesia. And he's like, you come up clear, you're fine.
Roland
00:22:08
And it was just like, put you on the PEMF, put you in the hyperbaric oxygen. And then I went on my way and I started feeling worse as time went on.
Michael Scalar
00:22:16
And I
Roland
00:22:17
had a buddy who did, EAV testing. You know what that is? The, you take a device and you can go into the acupuncture meridians and you can measure the electrical current going through them. We can get to that one next. And when he tested me, he's like, how are you functioning?
Roland
00:22:32
I've never seen a Lyme patient case come back like this. So the RIFE machine that this guy put all of his eggs in the basket of in terms of my assessment because you can't medically diagnose through a RIFE machine. It was the exact epitome of what you just said. It was a bastardization of the original thing. It doesn't mean there's not place for sound, But if you're making all of your decisions based upon something like assessing and treating with a RIFE, I think it's very reductionist.
Michael Scalar
00:23:02
Yeah. I mean, there's there's a lot of RIFE technologies out there. I I can't name one that I've tried where I was like, oh, this is this is legit. Mhmm. Or I feel something from it.
Michael Scalar
00:23:10
Or my candida's gone or anything.
Roland
00:23:13
Know? But it might not be a bad idea to say, well, if, you know, if I know there are certain frequencies that are supposed to be harmonious to the nervous system to whatever, I can just have it on in the background. If I have, you know, someone who's doing, I don't know, a talk therapy session and I have a five twenty eight frequency generator, it's probably not going to hurt, but
Michael Scalar
00:23:32
Back again to my talk on frequency specific things kind of nonsense because everything is far more expansive than a single frequency. Mhmm. So does this kind of stuff have some benefit? I I think so. I you get into the gigahertz frequencies of sound, and if you figure out a scientific way to actually focus them very, very
Roland
00:23:54
I have something like that where I can use high frequency EHF in the gigahertz range, I can scan and Well, no, I
Michael Scalar
00:24:01
think you could destroy cancer. Correct. Different, finding the right
Roland
00:24:05
Kill microbes.
Michael Scalar
00:24:07
I think it's extremely impossible, but I think we're talking about very high level science versus shit I bought on Alibaba.
Roland
00:24:14
Yeah. If it costs you under a $100.
Michael Scalar
00:24:17
No. Some of these things are like $30 and they do nothing like Really
Roland
00:24:20
that much?
Michael Scalar
00:24:21
There's there's some that are that I mean, I I think they're taking that approach of, well, we'll seem ultra premium by being premium priced, but we're selling stuff from China.
Roland
00:24:29
Fair.
Michael Scalar
00:24:29
And I'm not making fun of any I actually don't know the names of any of the companies out there that do stuff, but I'm sure there's some that are amazing. I'm I don't wanna knock the industry, but in my personal experience, I've seen very little efficacy from the general RIFE technologies.
Roland
00:24:42
Hyperbaric oxygen is another one. Have you tried
Michael Scalar
00:24:44
I have. I know it's absolutely nothing.
Roland
00:24:47
I've done a soft chamber and a hard chamber. They're different. Medical grade is hard. For certain scenarios, I can see the benefit, but people think hyperbaric oxygen is a super thing. You know what it really just does?
Michael Scalar
00:25:01
Makes you really, really bored in a chamber for a while.
Roland
00:25:03
Yeah, you feel like you're in a glass case of emotion. There is this process in the body where it's basically playing with positive and negative charge. It's called redox. So reduction in oxidization. If you're oxidized, you're essentially stressed and inflamed.
Roland
00:25:21
I'm making it very simple here. And sometimes you want to stimulate the teeter totter going into the reduced state. When people are reducing, it's why are you taking antioxidant? You you're trying to donate electrons to balance out radical molecules in the body. So what hyperbaric oxygen does is it hyperoxidizes you to stimulate your own antioxidant responses because oxygen can be master nutrient, master toxin kind of thing.
Roland
00:25:49
Because what happens when you go out to your car after it's rain? What do the brakes look like? They're orange. Right? They've oxidized.
Michael Scalar
00:25:56
Right.
Roland
00:25:57
So when the body oxidizes, it's degenerating. When the body degenerates, it's usually accompanied with inflammation. So for some people, a hyperbaric chamber can stimulate the body's own natural defenses, I. E. Someone who's struggling with a degenerative condition of low energy because whenever there's an oxygen limitation, there's low energy.
Roland
00:26:15
And for an athlete, you've stressed yourself excessively, you have a buildup of metabolic acids and oxidization responses from using so much energy to perform. It can help you recover a little faster, but people think they're magic. No. Mean, They're
Michael Scalar
00:26:32
very, very expensive to get the sessions. I know a lot of people had chronic, stuff before coming to EE system. Yep. And they're like, we've just spent a $100,000 on hyperbaric, and it did nothing. And then they they had some great results with the EE system just like
Roland
00:26:44
It does what it does, and it doesn't do what it doesn't do.
Michael Scalar
00:26:46
I mean, it has some benefit for certain people, I'm sure, especially a diver who's undergoing some sickness and needs decompression. Speaking of that, diving.
Roland
00:26:56
Diving.
Michael Scalar
00:26:56
My favorite hobby in the world is ultra healthy. You're under pressure. It releases nitric oxide when you're in deco. You're you're you're getting, especially if you're on nitrox, you're getting enriched air. You I always feel amazing after I go diving, at least when I use an enriched air on on the standard air, it can Yeah.
Michael Scalar
00:27:13
It can gnark you a little after a few dives.
Roland
00:27:15
When you're getting hyperpolic, if your oxygen saturation is even 1% low, like a 95% oxygen, 94% oxygen saturation can make you feel really sluggish. Yeah. So I'm sure you're getting this massive pulse of oxygen that you're breathing.
Michael Scalar
00:27:31
That's why all divers should get their nitrox cert.
Roland
00:27:34
There you go.
Michael Scalar
00:27:34
You do not get narc ed.
Roland
00:27:37
Yeah. That is an interesting premise. Know, you're also because
Michael Scalar
00:27:39
you're on 32 to 36% oxygen on nitrox.
Roland
00:27:43
Okay. Normal, it's like 21, 22.
Michael Scalar
00:27:46
Yeah. You I mean, they they joke because it's like this is the alcoholic's favorite sport because you you're hungover in the morning and you do nitrox. Yeah. You you have some oxygen underwater. It's grounding being under the water.
Michael Scalar
00:27:59
Well, you're under you're you're basically in the epitome of being in touch with nature. Yeah. It's it's grounding. You have, the positive charges from being a ton of salt water if you're salt water diving.
Roland
00:28:10
Yep. Negative ions.
Michael Scalar
00:28:12
And these really cute fishies.
Roland
00:28:14
That's true. And
Michael Scalar
00:28:14
beautiful corals. Sharks. Yes.
Roland
00:28:17
Yeah. As long as you don't go head on, they're friendly. Right?
Michael Scalar
00:28:20
They're they're all friend I mean, I I don't dive with tiger sharks or bull sharks or great whites.
Roland
00:28:26
I was gonna say, just go over to the great whites.
Michael Scalar
00:28:28
Right? But yeah.
Roland
00:28:29
Well, the
Michael Scalar
00:28:29
great whites really aren't that aggressive.
Roland
00:28:31
No. There are people who free dive with them.
Michael Scalar
00:28:32
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And so I've I've dealt with a ton of sharks and they're super chill. See that.
Michael Scalar
00:28:39
Sea puppies.
Roland
00:28:39
They're not looking for humans. They're more curious than anything else.
Michael Scalar
00:28:43
And most of the time, they've already snacked. So it's like, we're not food.
Roland
00:28:45
Yeah. Interesting. It's not quite an energy medicine device, but it's
Michael Scalar
00:28:51
It affects my energy. It's my medicine. Yes. Let's move on to grounding.
Roland
00:28:56
Well, okay. Ground grounding is actually, you know, what's the best thing about grounding in terms of its energy medicine practice of investment? It's free.
Michael Scalar
00:29:05
Well, I wanted to get into the gimmicky science stuff. Okay. But the prob you're right. Going up touch grass.
Roland
00:29:10
Yes. Free. Well, the earth has a pulse that fluctuates, but it's approximately 7.83 hertz, which means every 7.83 cycles per second, it just goes and it emits a pulse. So the earth has a heartbeat. And the human body interestingly is also slightly negatively charged.
Roland
00:29:28
The pH of our blood should be 7.35 to 7.45. I don't believe that's by accident. When we become positively charged, when we essentially accumulate a lot of dirty electricity and energy from interacting with our modern environments, our bodies don't work the same. There's energy fields in the bodies that it's almost like the physics tells the chemistry what to do. So all the biochemistry in the body is governed by the fields of information, I.
Roland
00:29:53
E. The energy that is being emitted from the cells, the tissues and the organs. So if someone never touches the earth they're never grounding themselves back out. Like we're antennas, we're physical antennas. This is not woo woo science, this is an actual thing.
Roland
00:30:07
So you can pull electrons from the earth into your body, and that's why typically people feel so good when they go to the beach. You're getting all the four elements. You're
Michael Scalar
00:30:15
getting The ions. Yeah. You're getting everything, but
Roland
00:30:17
with your feet touching the ground, and and a friend of mine who he's a acupuncturist in England, he told me this. There's a meridian channel. We could talk about meridians afterwards in Chinese medicine. There's a meridian channel that influences the kidneys that can only be stimulated through the bottom of the foot. I don't remember the name of it.
Roland
00:30:33
I'm not an acupuncturist or anything.
Michael Scalar
00:30:35
He said Acupuncturist in the chat. Let us know.
Roland
00:30:37
Please do. But he said that it's a way to help manage the flow of energy through that meridian, which helps you down regulate the nervous system in the body. And what's interesting is every organ and tissue in the body has an on and off switch. There's a sympathetic stimulatory side. There's a parasympathetic anti stimulatory side, that's a word.
Roland
00:31:00
Do you know the only organ in the body that doesn't have an off switch? It doesn't have a parasympathetic innervation? The brain? The adrenal glands. Oh.
Roland
00:31:07
What do the adrenal glands make? Adrenaline. Cortisol. So grounding is one of the ways to turn off the chronic sympathetic drive of cortisol production because the body, not the mind, the body feels that connection to where it can I I ground every chance I get? When I'm here, I'm out in the grass area your place doing some kind exercise on that patch of grass because after flying, being disconnected from the earth, it feels good to ground.
Roland
00:31:38
So that's my thing, but you have some some gimmicky signs you wanna touch on.
Michael Scalar
00:31:41
Well, I mean, you've got people plugging into electrical outlets in office buildings or, condos. Every electrical device is plugged into that. So there's gonna be a resonant back frequency that comes through the ground in a building.
Roland
00:31:53
If that plug is
Michael Scalar
00:31:54
grounded. Yeah. Because it's connect it's a circuit. Yeah. So unless you're hammering in a copper rod outside your house into the actual dirt
Roland
00:32:02
Doesn't do anything. I'd you know,
Michael Scalar
00:32:04
I wouldn't say it doesn't do anything. I just don't think it's as advertised.
Roland
00:32:07
Because I tried grounding sheets for a while. I kinda sit wanna say that, like
Michael Scalar
00:32:13
Does it get a woo
Roland
00:32:13
or a woo woo? It was more of a womp womp because I almost feel like over time, I just stopped using them because I'm like, am I feeling like I'm tighter when I wake up? Because I was thinking that what they market it as, you wake up, you don't feel pain in your joints. Not that I feel a lot of pain, but they say you wake up feeling very relaxed and relaxed. Other than the weird sound of your body moving over silver lining fabric, I don't know that I felt any different, but my plug was grounded.
Roland
00:32:42
So they give you this tester to make sure it's grounded. What you're saying is
Michael Scalar
00:32:45
But you're still plugged into the circuit of the entire building.
Roland
00:32:49
Regardless if something's plugged into that out only or
Michael Scalar
00:32:51
way that you're gonna get a good ground circuit for your body is a copper rod into dirt Mhmm. With a copper wire going to whatever you're grounding. So if you happen to have an office that is next to some dirt, and you wanna run a wire and a copper copper rod that you could then put some sort of ferromagnetic material, copper thin copper plating, or if you I don't know if those sheets are really the best thing. When this concept first came out, I was playing a lot of video games, so I'm like, oh, I'm underground. I did this.
Michael Scalar
00:33:22
And I put a copper rod, and my feet would sit on the copper rod. I actually did notice, like, it it did help And a that's just the science in me going, oh, well, is simple. It's just a basic circuit. But if if you're plugging into a building, we we got lights, we have to use I mean, you're plugging into everything that's your fridge is running. I mean
Roland
00:33:37
And to go deeper, if the energy coming into the home is not coherently converted from its input source, it actually creates a disharmony where they're at a phase with each other, and that emits a lot of dirty electricity. Mhmm. And that can really mess with some people.
Michael Scalar
00:33:51
Yeah. Yeah. So I'm I think the concept of grounding is good, but I think the freeway versus the capitalistic way is the way to go.
Roland
00:33:59
It's it's amazing how few people with a lot of the client work I do, one of the questions I ask someone is how often do your feet touch the ground? And 80 plus percent of people will say almost never. And I grew up in Canada, you don't ground at all from November, the crazy ones do.
Michael Scalar
00:34:14
It's so cold.
Roland
00:34:15
You do cold plunging instead, which is not not grounding, but from November until April, like you're not touching the earth. Bank it as much as you can. I want to shift gears because we talked about grounding and meridians and all that. Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic medicine have always fascinated me. And I've looked at Chinese medicine and the meridian system as kind of like it's a really nice connection point between the physical body and the nonphysical things they call the subtle energies.
Roland
00:34:41
Because you have the organs that are fed by the meridians that basically convert the subtle energies and they condense it to physiologic energy and then you have the extraordinary vessels of which they're ate that feed the organ meridian. So there's a very nice elegantly designed system in Chinese medicine that basically shows that there is this connection between the universal energy of what we can't perceive in our bodies and how we interact with that. And I've always thought that because it's been twenty five hundred years of, you know, refinement and evolution, if someone wanted to legitimize their experience of energy medicine, try acupuncture. Have you ever tried acupuncture before? No.
Roland
00:35:23
You've never tried acupuncture? How have you been in this industry?
Michael Scalar
00:35:26
Bro, needles.
Roland
00:35:27
Are you just afraid oh. It's it's freaky looking. So I was gonna say, I have a little fun word play. I don't think anyone will get too offended. I was gonna say you're a needle puss, but
Michael Scalar
00:35:37
I'm I'm a needle puss.
Roland
00:35:38
So do you know where the word puss comes from? It's not a reference to someone's anatomy. Cat. Pussilanimous is a word of essentially describing someone as being meager or fearful or something of that nature. So when you call someone a pussy, it's actually a real word.
Michael Scalar
00:35:54
That makes sense because the actual female anatomy is quite strong.
Roland
00:35:58
It is. So you have to start telling people they're being pussil animus and watch them go. So back to you and your pussil animus nature. You've never had an acupuncture session?
Michael Scalar
00:36:09
Negative.
Roland
00:36:10
Is it because of the needles? Yeah. You know that you don't even feel them, right? They're literally
Michael Scalar
00:36:16
My mind knows they're existing.
Roland
00:36:19
Transmute the energy Michael.
Michael Scalar
00:36:21
Me tune
Roland
00:36:21
it in.
Michael Scalar
00:36:21
Let me tune it. Nope. Hold on.
Roland
00:36:25
You're over now. Okay. So what's interesting about acupuncture is they're putting these needles along specific meridian lines and meridians connect to organs not only in their functional capacity but also in their human centric experiential capacity. What I mean by that is there are different emotions that correlate with different organs. Anger with the liver, fear with the kidneys, joy with the heart.
Roland
00:36:49
And if there's a stagnation of the subtle energy, there's a stagnation of the physical energy in the organ that is a physical thing. So you might see the effects of liver dysfunction on a blood test, but maybe that person also shows a personality trait of excessive anger or resentment.
Michael Scalar
00:37:05
Right.
Roland
00:37:06
Or they may have an inflammatory look to them, know, redness in their face, things of that nature. So to me, like, that's a really interesting way of saying, well, there's some aspects of
Michael Scalar
00:37:16
So I I take it you've done acupuncture.
Roland
00:37:19
That and I've also been trained on German acupuncture, German biological medicine.
Michael Scalar
00:37:23
Don't tell me you've got, like, a kid a needle somewhere.
Roland
00:37:25
Well, I don't have to have a needle. I have a device that Okay. This is where I'm I'm I'm bridge bridging it together because in the early twentieth century, there was a doctor named doctor Voell. Mhmm. And he looked at the Chinese system and he saw that it was essentially an electrical current map.
Michael Scalar
00:37:43
Sure.
Roland
00:37:43
And there's a book that was called The Ground Matrix that has actually identified that a meridian is a piece of connective tissue that comes to the surface that transmits electricity along the line and they end at the terminal ends of the fingers and the toes. So you can use a device that puts a very very small current into the meridian and you can look at the rating because the electroconductance of a meridian point is different from the skin around it. There's a higher amount of conductivity.
Michael Scalar
00:38:11
Sure.
Roland
00:38:11
So you can say is the meridian inflamed?
Michael Scalar
00:38:15
Are you you're referencing like biofeedback device?
Roland
00:38:17
It's it's kind of biofeedback but this is called an electronic acupuncture according to Volt, EAV.
Michael Scalar
00:38:22
Sure.
Roland
00:38:22
It's a practice that was much more popular, but, like, there's stories of the CIA raiding people's clinics in the eighties and taking these devices. Because you can cure things without trying to cure things. For example, you can have someone who comes in like I have liver failure, I have cardiovascular failure, and you can start to pull things out of the body that may be driving this because the whole premise is if there is an accumulation of toxic material, homotoxicology, you have to detox the body in the right order of operations for the given person and you can test products against someone's meridian to see if it stabilizes. So if a meridian's agitated, you need to bring it down a little bit. If it's depressed and if it's under functioning, need to boost it back up because there should be a certain amount of electricity that's being conducted through the current.
Roland
00:39:16
So this is another way of going, oh, I'm gonna treat the physical body by looking at how energy is flowing in the system, and there's a Chinese medicine philosophy of how all the organs connect. So I think this stuff is fantastic and it's fascinating, and I think there's a little bit of a resurgence, but finding someone who does this is very hard. Oh. Oh, do do you do this? I double.
Roland
00:39:39
I Are
Michael Scalar
00:39:39
you a master at it? Like, Reiki
Roland
00:39:41
I I let's let's put it this way. I am as masterful at it as the average Reiki master is nowadays.
Michael Scalar
00:39:47
Just title master, not actual master.
Roland
00:39:49
No. It it is, we're gonna get him on the show one time. Like a gentleman who's been mentoring me for the last five years, he's been doing it for over forty.
Michael Scalar
00:39:56
Yeah. Bring
Roland
00:39:56
him. And he he's gonna come in. He knows your mom. He and your mom have known each other in the last Everyone knows my mom. Well, they're about the same age.
Roland
00:40:03
They he remembers when your mom first fired up one of her devices in I don't even remember when it was. Yeah. It was in Colorado, I think. And he said there was this room they all walked into. So I think it'd be fun to have him and your mom on and exchange some stories
Michael Scalar
00:40:16
because went to the first system.
Roland
00:40:17
Yeah. You and I can sit there, and we'll just let them talk. And every so often, we'll interject. Okay, guys. But, again, it's another thing that can be perceived as woo woo because you're, like, you're putting a little thing to measure the electricity, but people start to have reactions.
Roland
00:40:33
I literally have a story of a client of mine who went to see this person and he lived in China for many years prior to moving back to, North America and he always had issues with throat stuff, cough, lungs. And he was talking to someone in his house one day and he literally and he puffed out smoke. And the person on the other end froze because they were in mid conversation and he puffed out this little thing of smoke.
Michael Scalar
00:40:59
Wow.
Roland
00:41:00
And the thing he was detoxifying was lung accumulation of environmental compounds. So it's a fascinating study.
Michael Scalar
00:41:08
That that's a trip. Okay.
Roland
00:41:09
We'll get him on it at some point. So we've done the gamut of energy technologies. I like to go very quickly into things like human based modalities, psychic stuff, hands on work. Any what what are your thoughts on people who do this stuff? Have you had any remarkable experiences with these kinds of things?
Michael Scalar
00:41:28
I've met a handful of hands on healers where Yep. They actually are hands on healing. Mhmm. A number in the probably more Reiki master, submaster
Roland
00:41:38
Mhmm.
Michael Scalar
00:41:38
That have some benefit, and you might feel something, but not really a healer. When it comes to psychics, I've met a a very small amount of psychics that actually have value Mhmm. And say good things. A lot of them, I think, are more or less charlatan. And you should be able to figure this out with a lot of people because Mhmm.
Michael Scalar
00:41:58
A good psychic's gonna have a good following because they're correct. And a bad psychic's probably gonna be on the side of La Brea Freeway with this big sign and, you
Roland
00:42:08
know Will do sessions for money. Yeah. I think I think the concept of psychic needs to be dug into for a quick moment.
Michael Scalar
00:42:15
Yeah.
Roland
00:42:16
Every single person on this planet is psychic. I'll give you an example. Have you ever walked into a room, and I know this your answer to this question, and you've seen someone and you immediately just go, I don't want anything to do with that person. You've never met them before.
Michael Scalar
00:42:28
No. I I definitely, have an attune I would be called a psychic then if that's and you're right. Everyone
Roland
00:42:34
Everyone has a natural intuit. That's all it is. It's information beyond the five senses that's an intuitive thing that's hard to qualify or quantify because it's a personal subjective experience. People associate psychic with the fortune tellers, like, give me your palm. I'll tell you when you're gonna get married.
Roland
00:42:51
I'm gonna tell you how many kids you have and what their names are.
Michael Scalar
00:42:53
Nobody's psychics had told me that I was gonna get married to some blonde or brunette or this random ass shit that never happened. I'm just like, okay. Alright. But I've a heard few actually say things where that happened. One was a really great astrologer actually, and I think she was more astrology Which
Roland
00:43:10
is another cool science. And I've been pretty hard on astrology, but I'm coming around.
Michael Scalar
00:43:14
Very hard on astrology because I've had mom loves astrology.
Roland
00:43:18
She loves astrology. How many degrees of Scorpio she
Michael Scalar
00:43:20
is in her rising star. I I just thought she's speaking Japanese because I don't follow all that, but I've had a few astrologers give bits of information that occurred in the future. And I was just like, alright. You have my attention in astrology. But then others, it's complete woo woo.
Michael Scalar
00:43:33
So I I don't know what makes a master astrologer.
Roland
00:43:36
You know what I
Michael Scalar
00:43:37
But I think it has a lot to do with their understanding of energy and the atmosphere around people and and a lot more than just the stars.
Roland
00:43:46
Yeah. Astrology is really math. At the end of the day, this is what turned me with astrology. So everything is constantly in motion.
Michael Scalar
00:43:54
Mhmm.
Roland
00:43:55
So if you think about the cosmos, our solar system, everything that's happening, when you came into the world and when I came into the world, everything was at a very specific configuration. This planet was here. So there has to be some structure and design to that. It can't be some random thing, and patterns and cycles have to repeat. And when I looked at it that way, I'm like, it's kind of like the inner workings of a watch.
Roland
00:44:16
Yeah. It's the cosmic clock that influences the outcome of things and sometimes it gets crazy. It's like, oh, the president's gonna go through this likely in this time frame and it's gonna you don't know that.
Michael Scalar
00:44:27
Part I don't like. But I agree. If we're energy and we're affected by other energy, we have a lot of very large balls of energy, aka planets, constantly moving around as people have been studying those movements for a long time, and that you get pattern recognition.
Roland
00:44:40
That's what it
Michael Scalar
00:44:41
is. Pattern recognition of understanding that we are energy and affected by other energy. And, obviously, people had a lot more free time back when they weren't doomscrolling. So people were just sitting out there
Roland
00:44:50
watching masters of this.
Michael Scalar
00:44:51
There was no TV. They they were watching these things move around and be like, alright.
Roland
00:44:55
Alright. Let's move. Yeah. No.
Michael Scalar
00:44:56
I mean, literally, I mean, the the study of the stars is probably one of the oldest arts on on the planet as far as a science. So is astrology fake? Absolutely not. It's impossible if you just understand the fact that we are energy surrounded by other energy, and we are affected by the movements of said energy. Information affecting information.
Michael Scalar
00:45:13
The guy charging you a $100 to tell you where and when and if and are am I gonna get laid next week? You know? The this kind of stuff, I I I categorize as woo for the most part. I I do like the cycles of a good astrologer will find that you're coming into this cyclical part of your life. Yes.
Michael Scalar
00:45:31
So you should be cautious or aware or understand certain things. But the ones that are claiming to be able to tell you the color of the girl's hair you're going to marry, I just like, alright. Here we go again. And
Roland
00:45:43
I know a few good psychics. I've studied a lot of this stuff. I've done some of this work with people. I think where there's value in this stuff, and this is a very double edged sword. If someone's gone through trauma, if you're trying to heal something, nothing happens in a vacuum in someone's life that's purely an isolated physical thing.
Roland
00:46:00
What I mean by that is if you have developed a disease, if you have a condition, if you have something you're struggling with in life, component, there's a mental component, there's an emotional component, and there's a spiritual component. That's how I look at everything, right? And they're interdependent. So let's say someone's dealing with an autoimmune condition and that autoimmune condition might have been precipitated by a critical life event, you can take the supplements, go to the medical facility, what have you, and try to heal the body. But if you don't heal the emotional stuff, if you don't heal the memory of things, the behavior or the compensation that has changed you as a person that has evolved out of these things.
Michael Scalar
00:46:41
You needed the negative psychological feedback loop to end. And I realized this when I was younger. Obviously, I had my mom and a lot of great knowledge around
Roland
00:46:49
Mhmm.
Michael Scalar
00:46:49
Her teachings as a as a hands on healer, healer, intuitive, the whole list. But something I understood in my teens was I would be like, there was a we'll we'll give an example. It was a bully who was constantly on me. And I I remember laying in bed, and I'd moved to another state at this point. He was no longer in my aura, in my life.
Michael Scalar
00:47:06
And I'm sitting there at night trying to fall asleep thinking, oh, this this this asshole. Mhmm. And I'm like, wait a minute. Living rent free
Roland
00:47:12
in your mind.
Michael Scalar
00:47:13
Yeah. Exactly. So I I realized that there's absolutely no reason for me to even care. I forgive you. Move on.
Michael Scalar
00:47:20
And it's just anytime that it will come up, same process. Yeah. I forgive you. No you know, you're on your own path, whatever. This little psychological process of clearing it, and then it no longer it no longer is rent free in my mind.
Michael Scalar
00:47:33
So you you kinda have to go through this forgiveness process. I forgive myself. I forgive the person. I forgive this event. I'm no longer a victim.
Michael Scalar
00:47:41
I'm no longer at effect of it. And once you go through this process, you release the trauma.
Roland
00:47:46
It's really manipulating, and manipulating is in a negative context, the context of belief of your reality, right? Because nothing, there's an old saying, nothing happens outside of you. Everything that you're experiencing is actually information that's being taken in and processed inside of your body, your brain, what have you. So when people are trying to heal things, I think there's an opportunity for these kinds of modalities. Mhmm.
Roland
00:48:06
If the person has integrity, if they are authentic, if they are skillful, they can accelerate the process because ultimately, if you continue to unlayer and heal things inside of yourself, you can find peace, joy, love, happiness in yourself, and you can spread that out into the world. But the other side of it is when people become obsessively controlling neurotic and fearful to where they have to consult their psychic on every big decision in life. It's like, No. No.
Michael Scalar
00:48:36
Higher psychic bodyguard.
Roland
00:48:37
A higher psychic bodyguard is like, they're trying to oh, they're sending me bad thoughts right now. Look. Psychic attack and all those things are real. If you can tune in, you can this happens to me all the time. I think about someone boom, they text me.
Roland
00:48:49
It happens to me all the time to the point where even my wife's like, really? Recently, there was do you know the band called the Mavericks? Have you heard of them? No. K.
Roland
00:48:59
There was this song that kept playing in my head, and I thought it was a different band. So I'm searching this song out, searching this band out. It doesn't exist. And this song just popped into my head, and I had not thought about it or heard it in ten plus years. So I finally figured out it's this band, the Mavericks.
Roland
00:49:15
It's a song, here comes the rain. So when I put it on or I googled it, that day the singer died. Weird coincidence. Right? As I say that, look, I got the goosebumps.
Roland
00:49:24
So I think that you can work on tapping into various aspects of information, but what I'm getting at with the negative side of it is if you don't cultivate that within yourself and you always default it to someone else who you say this is the authority, this that's how the charlatanism is created. You give someone so much power and authority over all the decisions that you make in your life. If they're not a good person, they can start guiding you to do things that is purely beneficial to them. Thought. Thought.
Roland
00:49:51
Reality. There are unfortunately some our industry contains a lot of people who are at the end of their rope in life. What I mean by that is they're desperate. They're sick. Someone they know is sick.
Roland
00:50:06
They are in high emotional stress and they will do whatever they can to try to help themselves, help someone else. It's a prime breeding ground for the grifters and the parasites.
Michael Scalar
00:50:15
It's true. People are desperate and there's They're easy targets.
Roland
00:50:19
Yeah. When someone's emotional, they're not at their center. And if you can get them emotional because you can read people, you can be good with manipulations and word choice and how you present yourself.
Michael Scalar
00:50:28
Truth and transparency, love and light.
Roland
00:50:31
Yeah. It's not
Michael Scalar
00:50:32
Buy my stuff. It's
Roland
00:50:34
If anyone thinks this place is all love and light, they are sadly mistaken. You can be full of love and light in yourself, but you have to be discerning and have to use discretion. And if you outsource the responsibility for your decision making to anyone else, you'll be in trouble if you don't trust yourself first and foremost. So that was a hold on. Let me just
Michael Scalar
00:50:55
Oh, yeah. You gotta get the grifter off your aura.
Roland
00:50:58
I just tapped into it.
Michael Scalar
00:50:59
I didn't like them. Tapped into it.
Roland
00:51:00
The parasite energy. Oh, no. But I think this was a really I know. Not I think. It was a really fun conversation examining this.
Michael Scalar
00:51:08
And people in the comments, let us know your thoughts on the thoughts and the energy and the frequency and the truth and the transparency and, oh my god, I'm getting a message.
Roland
00:51:18
Isn't it amazing how someone's voice automatically changes when they get into their, like, spiritual channeler mode?
Michael Scalar
00:51:24
Oh, god.
Roland
00:51:24
It's also my favorite videos of what people channel and they, like, put on this voice, and all of a sudden, like, everything about them changes.
Michael Scalar
00:51:30
I'm channeling from the great beyond.
Roland
00:51:33
You know, in all seriousness, this pyramid on my head makes me feel pretty relaxed and dialed in.
Michael Scalar
00:51:38
Yeah. I know. I mean, we probably won't be crazy, but we're cool, man. We're cool.
Roland
00:51:42
Your mom's
Michael Scalar
00:51:42
We're spiritual gangsters.
Roland
00:51:44
Your mom's friend who's no longer with us designed these things. Yes. And he was, what, double, triple PhD?
Michael Scalar
00:51:50
And a triple Leo. Yeah. Smart dude. He's yeah. I mean, this grandson of Alexander Graham Bell.
Michael Scalar
00:51:56
I mean, this is the the the people who literally learned how to convey information through telephone lines across the world. Probably a little They
Roland
00:52:04
may had some good genetics there. Yeah, maybe. But I think, you know, for you guys, if you want us to go into some more deeper details in the energy medicine conversation, like we really wanna bring credibility to this industry and help share good messages. So if you have any ideas, suggestions, please do drop them in the comments.
Michael Scalar
00:52:18
Yeah. And my message to the companies out there that are probably pissed off that we, are talking ill of some things, get some research. Do research. We've been we were probably the most researched company in our our wellness space, and I guess, under under thought and seen a lot of times. There's like 30 pages of white paper on our website with a peer review published coming.
Michael Scalar
00:52:38
ADHD, we have a seventy four percent efficacy. Adderall is seventy to eighty percent. It's absolutely mental. You can just go into an Energy Wellness Center, and you're not gonna be cleaning your closet at three in the morning.
Roland
00:52:50
You may have a nice relaxing experience rather than tweaking. Well, and you know, just I'll finish with this too. And this is something that probably should be said because you know how to read research. I've conducted some clinical research. People want a single variable in energy medicine to legitimize something's efficacy.
Roland
00:53:10
Meaning they want to know the one thing it does, give me a number, give me a thing that tells me it's absolute. It doesn't work that way. If it's a field of information, I. E. An energy tool, it's gonna have an effect on the body.
Roland
00:53:23
It's going to collide with us as energy and there's gonna be a plus b equals c is the outcome. Mhmm. And different things are gonna change. So you may see a change in heart rate variability. You may see a change in attention span.
Roland
00:53:35
Energy medicine is gonna do what it can do for the body, which is why PEMF and red light and all those things, they play the one note that they play. It's not bad. Hope is not that sound. Yeah. When it goes up, it's encouraging.
Roland
00:53:49
When it goes down, major what is it? A major third and a perfect fifth, they have very different feels, but people have to understand that these things are not simple. You're measuring an open system that is the human body and the changes that you're seeing
Michael Scalar
00:54:04
of variables.
Roland
00:54:05
And the patterns have to be recognized. Yeah. If you're measuring HRV, if you see an increase in high frequency parasympathetic activity that's an overall relaxation and conserving and resources and healing of the body. If you're seeing focus and attention, you're seeing the brain's brain waves probably shifting from a stress state to a more coherent focused state. So energy medicine is still challenging for the average person because our diagnostics are not sensitive enough to get very simple measurements to the point where we can convey this stuff and there's no thought.
Roland
00:54:39
So people have to be patient. They have to experiment with things and understand how it basically affects them and invest a little bit in learning how the human body works. It's the only reason that I was against energy medicine when I started in this field. I thought it was the biggest crock of shit ever. Then I got humbled.
Roland
00:54:55
Then I started actually learning how things work and I realized, man, I don't know anything. But I know enough to be relevant in terms of what can I expect, what can I understand, and where can I use this tool?
Michael Scalar
00:55:07
A lot of our biggest supporters have actually entered entered our field, our space, and our technology trying to debunk us. And then they're like, holy shit. You guys have something.
Roland
00:55:18
I think it's a perfect way to end this one.
Michael Scalar
00:55:20
Perfect. Alright, guys. Like, comment, subscribe. Do all those cool Internet things. Let us know in the comments if you loved it, you hate it, you wanna know more about woo woo stuff.
Michael Scalar
00:55:28
We'll see you next time.
